Non Functional Test Lead - Performance Testing - Test Management

We are currently looking for a Non Functional Test Lead for a contract role based in Berkshire. The successful candidate will work for a Telco Tier 1 Organization.

Responsibilities:

Working with the wider Test Team, produce and design strategy so that the automated performance tests accurately test the performance of the complex system flows and application functionality using appropriate data quality and quantity.
Work with the wider SMIP delivery team to arrange their input and contributions that will enable test artefacts such as test scripts and environment requirements to be met.
Review execution results and ensure they are recorded in Quality Centre/ALM.
Ensure defects are raised and recorded within Quality Centre/ALM with appropriate evidence. Work closely with the test and development leads to ensure a timely resolution.
Attend design walkthroughs and review design documentation, ensuring that non-functional requirements and standards have been considered; and identify and raise any issues.
Work with the NFT Manager to review and identify Non-functional impacts of all functional changes and ensure that they are documented and incorporated in the Non-functional test suite.
Produce regular status reports and articulate

Skills and Experience required:

5+ years of experience in Non-Functional Testing.
OAT and performance test and test management experience essential.
Excellent analytical skills and can demonstrate proven track record in non-functional testing
Capable of analysing complex requirements and design specifications and designing tests to prove requirements have been met.
Work to guarantee smooth, predictable and timely delivery of application environment and/or updates
Help to identify, create and/or implement processes or products to efficiently manage and enhance the non-functional strategy
Work closely with the individual work streams' development and testing teams, Service Delivery Teams, operations groups and change management for the planning, managing, and implementation of non-functional testing across the Smart Metering test and production environments to support the program test plan.
Excellent Communication skills.
