My client is searching for a Resource Analyst or Resource Manager
An experienced professional with a thorough understanding of Resource Management processes and how it fits in the Consulting business. The Resource Analyst will perform varied and complex duties and tasks requiring independent judgment in order to staff project roles with the best-fit consultants in the most advantageous timeframe for customer success.
Proactively identify resources to present for open requirements through a variety of methods including skills searches, discussions to other Resource Analyst's escalation calls with peers and management, etc. When no internal candidates are available within the required timeframe, the Resource Analyst will leverage external partner resources
Understand the policy regarding partner usage and operates within the guidelines
Screen and make recommendations on candidate selection with Project Managers or Engagement Managers
Confirm assignment end dates by pro-actively inquiring on extension opportunities
Able to understand, at a high level, required consulting skill sets across all supported Adobe product and service lines; has detailed understanding of skills of assigned practice
Pro-actively monitor the bench and recommend creative ways to utilize consultants who lack high demand skill sets
Educate assigned practice managers on resourcing roles and responsibilities, processes, policies and rules of engagements
Operate as a virtual member of your assigned practice and participate in meetings, bench calls and forecasting calls
Conducts business in a manner that provides value and instills confidence in the Resource Management team/function
Requirements
- Requires a BA/BS or equivalent.
- Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in Resource Management and/or Consulting Professional Services
- MS Office applications, Excel/Pivot tables, experience.
