Python Developer - Investment Banking - London

A very exciting opportunity for a Python Developer to join a leading top tier investment bank.The role provides real scope for future development in python as well as a host of other technologies. It is a permanent position and as such you will gain invaluable experience of both programming and finance.

Key Responsibilities/Requirements:

At least four years of Python programming
Experience working in the Front Office using python or other such programming language
Ability to build full scale Object Oriented applications
Be able to identify and discuss risk by providing solutions and offering ways to improve the systems framework
Understanding of Agile Methodologies
Know-how of Fixed Income principles such as Interest Rate Swaps and FX Swaps etc.
Confident and audible orator
Degree holder

If successful you will work within the Front Office on reporting and pricing tools. You will face off to the business, which is globally spread, so you will enjoy international exposure through regular offshore communication. Only genuine python enthusiasts who have financial experience preferably in the Front Office should apply for this role.
