Business Analyst - Investment Banking - New York Opportunity

We are seeking experienced and talented individuals with strong business analysis or project management skills to work on a major project for a leading investment bank!

The initial project you will be based on will be in New York! This is will be a 9 month project where all your accommodation and living allowances will be covered and once the project is finished, you will come back to London which is where you will be based long term!

You will be working in a leading role on a major OTC Derivatives project for the bank. It is a challenging project which will draw on all your BA skills gathering the user requirements, GAP Analysis, full BRDs, specifications and testing! You will get the chance to work with key stakeholders and your strong communication skills will be a huge asset.

Joining now means you will also be involved in a number of other key projects next year, enabling you to work with different asset classes across different projects ranging from regulatory change to major trading system implementations.

Alongside New York, there is plenty of opportunity to travel to other locations such as Singapore and Paris but if you would like to stay London based after the New York project that is ok as well!

Interested in people with experience of one or more of the following:

• 3-5 years business analyst experience
• Working within capital markets
• Must have worked on the full project life cycle
• Hands on experience working with some key asset classes (derivatives, Fixed Income, equities)
• Some regulatory or risk knowledge
• Strong communication skills
• Must be degree educated

Technical/Industry Experience (some of the following):

• Strong knowledge of some key asset classes
• Understanding the impact new regulations have on OTC Derivatives
• Knowledge of the regulatory impacts on the industry - EMIR, MiFID, FATCA
• Understanding of the technology that impacts on a capital markets environment
• Proven experience on a large scale implementation
• Knowledge of risk - credit risk or market risk
• Experience of one large scale SDLC implementation and managed at UAT stage
